The following Privacy Policy governs the online information collection and storage practices of the Board Coaching Institute (“Company”, “we” or “us”). Specifically, it outlines the types of information that we gather about you while you are using www.boardcoachinginstitute.com.au (“Site”) and the ways in which we use and store this information. 

This Privacy Policy applies primarily to information which we collect online; however, the portion of this Privacy Policy that relates to the European Union’s General Data Privacy Regulation may apply to some of the data that you provide to us offline and/or through other means, as well (for example, at a live event, via telephone, or through the mail).

We have created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy and security. This Privacy Policy describes how our Company collects information from all end users including those who access some of our Services but do not have accounts (“Visitors”) and those who purchase Products and Services (“Clients”).

We regularly review and update the Privacy Policy In an effort to maintain compliance with ongoing changes in technology and to effect the adoption of new regulations and laws. Any such updates result in a new effective date of the policy to reflect the date of the changes coming into force. Clients may be asked to provide certain personal information when signing up for our Products or Services including name, address, telephone number and billing information (such as a credit card number). The personal information collected from Clients is used primarily to deliver the Products & Services to you with a high level of customer satisfaction.

The information you provide to us will never be disclosed, traded, licensed or sold to a third party. However, we may make limited disclosure of your personal information under the specific circumstances described below.

When you use our Site, information is automatically collected, including: Date of account creation, Date of account updates, IP address, Device type, Time stamp, Operating system, Browser, Email open clicks and Login history.

Those persons may be on teams such as: marketing, training facilitation, assessment, customer support, finance, etc. These persons only have access to data that is relevant to their team, on a “need to know” basis.



Who We Share Your Data With Outside of Our Organisation and Why:
Contractors
We may provide some of your information to third parties, such as external facilitators, external assessors and training venues in the delivery of our courses. This information may only be used by these third parties for the sole purpose of identifying you whilst providing training and/or assessing your work.



Software as a Service

We use third party software systems (“Software Providers”) to facilitate our business; such as learning management systems, accounting and payment processing systems and marketing campaign management systems.

The use and collection of your information by these Software Providers is governed by the relevant third-party’s privacy policy and is not covered by our Privacy Policy. Indeed, the privacy policies of these Software Providers may be different from ours. 

We take all reasonable steps to ensure these Software Providers are reputable and that they adhere to the highest standards of privacy and security protection including through the execution of GDPR-compliant Data Privacy Agreements or Addenda, as applicable. We cannot be responsible for any breaches of Privacy Policies generating from the systems of the Software Providers.



Authorities
We may access, preserve, and disclose information about you to third parties such as government and regulatory authorities, if we believe disclosure is in accordance with our legal, regulatory or auditing requirements.

We may also disclose information about you if we believe that your actions are inconsistent with our guidelines and policies, or if necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of, or prevent fraud or abuse of, Company or others.

We may disclose information to your Authorised Representatives or Legal Advisers when requested by you to do so. 



Why We Store Information We Collect From You:
We retain certain information that we collect from you while you are a Client and/or Visitor, and in certain cases where you have deleted your account, for the following reasons:
